Meditation (:

Hey everyone! I am so humbled by the wise words you all have posted. It has been so encouraging and challenging and awesome to hear God speak through you all.

Sitting still for me is so unnatural, but being quiet in God's presence is where I feel most at home. It is the only time I feel so totally at peace. I love in Psalm 23:1-3 when it says "He refreshes my soul." How true is that? In a recent study we talked about how so many heroes of the Old Testament fell out of exhaustion of body, soul, and spirit, crying out the the Lord that they couldn't do anymore. But they all succeeded in the strength of the Lord. When I get into a routine sometimes I get into the habit of meditating for few minutes and checking it off my to-do list. But when I am reminded that, "to be in the presence of God is to change" and that Christ knew my darkest moment, and died for me just the same, I can't help but fall to my knees and want to follow him.

I want to hear him, I never want to miss something he has set up for me because I am too busy with tasks to hear him. Like it says in 1 Kings 19:11-12 "and after the fire came a gentle whisper" I have to be quiet to hear a whisper.

I'm sorry this is scattered, but I love you all!
God Bless,
Kendall
