Solitude

Hey guys,
So first off my car was found about 20min away from campus. Everything was still intact but almost everything was gone except my wetsuit and my radio.
On another note this last devotional on solitude was so great. Solitude is something I try to practice alot because my mind is always running with images, ideas of new projects, pretty much everything and believe me it is very hard to quiet everything and sit with Him and listen to Him if he has things to say to me but like Kirsten said when i do feel his presence it is the best feeling that you could ever experience. Just taking that time out of your day or week to sit quietly with Him and just sit do nothing else but sit with Him is the best thing but can also be one of the hardest because you do become so vulnerable and you realize the sins that you have done between the time you have sat with Him. And for me it is hard because its painful but also very rewarding.
I think the quote that hit me the hardest was a Foster quote that said "One reason we can hardly bear to remain silent is that it makes us feel helpless". That is very true because we are told from a young age to speak up and voice our opinions and ask for help and all that fun stuff, but when we want to trust God we must silence ourselves and sit in solitude with Him. That's all I got for this one and sorry no artwork this time maybe next time.
