First of all, I just want to say how stoked I am for next weekend to see everyone again! It's been far too long and I can't wait to get together again with you all, but to also get to know our newest additions to the Barnabas 2012 team! I'm so excited to see what God has in store for us this weekend and even farther our into our time serving together this summer. On that note...

We are created by God, not for God.
So often we find ourselves trying to control our own destinies claiming that we know what path is best for our lives. In effect, every step that we take towards our own decisions, are steps away from God. Without God we are nothing. I particularly liked the first page with the series of questions, "How did we come to live? Why do we live? How do we live? What is our life? Where did it come from? Where is it going? What is it meant for?" God has made an amazing creation in this world and only He knows all of our answers. It is with His guidance that we are led to the answers, we can do nothing on our own.
