Submission.

hi everyone!
oh man this weeks devotional on submission has been blowing my mind! its so true that submission is a lifestyle! its crazy for me to think that cause before reading about it i thought of submission as moments with God and just being in awe and thats not all entirely wrong but after reading this i realized its not just moments here and there as I'm reading my bible or quietly spending time with God, its a never ending overwhelming experience with Christ where we have an open invite to invade the depths of His presence.

one thing that really stuck out to me was "Christ not only died a 'cross-death,' he lived a 'cross-life.' #Boom! its such an awesome reminder to me that that this is what we are called to do! As we deny our worldly selves every day to pick up our cross and follow Christ, to be a leader as we mimic Christs leadership and become a servant to all and put our selves last. And how awesome of an opportunity we have this summer as we all can model Christ to all those students by severing them. to me that alone is such and encouragement and draws me closer to Christ just wanting to learn more about his character as i take his open invite and submit myself in his presence!
