Submission - Different Way of Thinking

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately I haven't had a lot of time this week to really consider the devotional (went on a trip, other excuses...), but here are some quick thoughts:

In my mind, submission tends to get a bad rap (head coverings, Islam, false modesty, etc.), but one thing that I noticed in reading this devotional is that Jesus was submissive. I tend to think of myself as pretty hot stuff, but Jesus was (and is) as hot as stuff gets. If it's reasonable for Jesus to be submissive to God (theological implications of that statement aside), than surely it must be reasonable for me to be. I think this is why:  Submission is not about how worthwhile I am; it's about how worthwhile God is, because even if I were were perfect, God's plan is so perfect that it would still be right for me to follow it.
