Lack of Solitude = Lack of Passion - Help me Jesus!

Writer of the study: "We don't want to hear the words of Jesus!"

Hiding from silence/solitude allows me to hide from the words of Jesus, "take up your cross."

Hiding from silence/solitude allows me to take cover from Christ's desire to cut out of me anything that sustains me in this world that is not His heart and His life in me.

But what do I hide from the most? The heart/voice of Jesus in me that breaks all the time for the wounds and sufferings of others.

Jesus, give me your passion. Please give me your (in the greek) "PASCHO" (Mathew 16:21) -- which is to feel, embrace, and be affected by suffering.
