Holy week was an amazing week for me. I love going over and re-reading Jesus' story and just reminding myself of how much he loves me.
Most years, Holy week is not much of a celebration in my house... we were known as the "anti-Christians" in that sense, for we would celebrate Easter on our own, and avoid going to church services, and the crowds that we knew would be there. But this year, we actually went to church, and my family helped out with the little kids in the Sunday School classes for them. This year's Holy week has been one of my all-time favorites.
I really seem to be at a loss for words as I'm trying to type this blog, so I'm just going to end with something random.
Do you know that song by Christina Perri, that goes like this, "I have died, every day waiting for you, Darling don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years, and I'll love you for a thousand more." Well every time I hear that song, I immediately think of what Jesus did for us. I mean he did die for us, and he has loved us even before we were born, and he will always love us no matter what.
With lots of love Stephanie :)
