Pray !

Hey guys soo I really enjoyed reading your thoughts about this weeks devotion. Prayer to me is so important. Prayer is like talking to God. Having a  relationship with God also means talking to him.  I like how it says "without prayer, we are essentially dead". Also Brother Lawerance called this breathing posture as "practicing the presence of God". When I picture the precence of God I see him listening. It's awesome that our God listens to our prayers. Psalm 139:1-14 stood out to me because it reminds me that God is always watching. God knows us and its cool because he is the only one that can watch everyone. God is omnipresent. The quote "The destination of prayer is our home which is Christ" definitely makes me joyful to know that Christ is there. Whenever I feel nervous or feel on the edge of something I pray to remind myself that I have the security with God. Its a reminder that God is my strength and that I'm not alone. It's good to know that we can never pray to much. Talking to God is unlimited. We should always talk to Him. The more your talk to someone you feel more comfortable and you get to know them better. We want to get know God at a deeper level. Prayer is essential to a Christians walk with the Lord.
