Service :)

Hi Everyone! I can't believe how close our next training weekend is! Just a matter of weeks :)

What better way to reflect on being a barney than having a reading about service!
It's so encouraging to think about all Jesus did despite how powerful he is. It is through serving others that we can truly feel closer to him and all that he does for us. The passage of John 13:1-8 was very powerful. It's so crazy cool to think about how Jesus, the all mighty, has the identity of a slave. How knows and understands this, as well as continually shows others what this means. If jesus can do it, why can't we?

I also loved reading Philippians 2:5-11. This verse is also very motivating in my eyes. I know that these words will be ringing in my head when it comes time to fulfill my part as a barney. In fact I will probably write some of these down and keep them with me :)
