Week Two Meditation

Meditation is more that just thinking about the Word...

I never thought that Meditation required a deep spiritual connection in which I would completely focus on Jesus, and strive to follow Him.  This weeks study was really eye-opening.  I have been constantly attempting to just read my bible and actually focus on what I'm reading.  At the same time I usually have a very small amount of time before bed to just clear my mind and just talk to God about everything.  This has been so inspiring and helpful in my daily life.

What was truly amazing was that last night I didn't read my bible because I was so drained from that day.  And well this morning I felt so empty and tired and I didn't know why, until right now. I realized that because I didn't have my quite time and, even my ever so small, bible study that I just didn't make it through the day very well.  I did not expect that my personal meditation would affect me this much.

From this past week, I can't express this well enough. Without your meditation with your bible and God, you will not be able to handle your life with the same amount of courage and strength that you could have with them.

I want to challenge everyone to do this, even if you just read a few verses in Psalms before you fall asleep, or just spend maybe a minute or two in prayer a day, you will change your life.
