Solitude.Silence.

Being in solitude leads to discipline of silence which leads to learning how to listen to the Spirit.
Something I have to remember is that being silent and being in solitude does not just mean turning off the music, closing my books, going somewhere quiet, and not talking…it also means silencing my mind.  I must silence the lack of trust, silence the excuses, silence the to-do list, silence the lies being whispered by the devil, silence the distractions, silence the worries, silence the fears.
It is only then that I can be in solitude and when I can truly be in the fullness of His presence.
