Jesus is alive!

One part of the story that stuck out to me as I was reading in this week’s devotional was the part where Mary Magdalene sees Jesus.

According to the Gospel of John, something that I noticed was that Mary left and hurried to tell the disciples of the Good News. When she found out the Truth of the resurrection of Jesus, after worshipping Him, the first thing she did was go and share with others. This joy and urgency is something I need to engrain into my heart more.

Also, she goes without hesitating about what the disciples would think of her or if they would even believe her. She didn’t care about that. All she knew was that she had to tell someone else of this great news! It was too much to keep to herself!

How come I am hesitant at times to share with others the Good News of Christ because I am worried about what they will think of me? I pray that this Good News would never settle, but that I will constantly overflowing with His truth and not be able to hold it in!
