Hey guys! First off I want to say that always choose adventure art is Chandler. I just logged me in as that since I already have a blog on here. Second I'm not a big writer most of my prayer and feelings come out on a canvas instead of paper.

But any ways I found this devotional, this week at least, as one of the best I've done. The sentence that read "The reputation of the words inhaling and exhaling remind me of the ongoing eternal presence of God" really stood out to me. It made me think of quote from a book that I am reading called Knowing God by J. I. Packer and it reads "stop your ears to those who tell you there is no road to knowledge about God". The reputation of the word and knowledge about God go hand in hand.

Something that I found challenging was Foster's quote that said "If we genuinely love people, we desire for them far more than that is within our to give, and that will cause us to pray". For me it is challenging because I forget about prayer and just want to act but I know that I need to pray because there are things that only God can do and we can not. Just like John 5:30 says "By myself I can do nothing". So my challenge for myself from now on is to realize that there are things that I can not do for the people that I love but what I can always do is pray.
